Sahara Lebanese Cuisine

I did this series of murals to represent the Middle east, particularly the home of the Lebanese and Arab communities.

The first mural depicts a sunset over Pigeon's Rock in harbour of Beirut, Lebanon's capitol, and the roman ruins at Baalbak.



 


I completed the above mural ahead of schedule and so I extended the mural to the other wall and put a caravan of camels walking on a shore.

The second mural makes use of a corner hall, and has some typically middle-eastern buildings, with a path extending toward the horizon, and the Dome of the Rock in Palestine.

I really enjoyed painting these murals because they are so large and surround you on all sides when you are in the restaraunt.

I was also excited to have so many new vegan options in the city, falafel, tabouli, vine leaves, pita and hummus. I love the food.
